Who: Tobias and Scotty When: Morning Where: In the woods, of course
This was really not how he wanted to wake up. Dressed in camo, handcuffed to a tree. Well, one hand cuffed to a tree, anyway. He had tried to slip the handcuff off the branch first, but it was impossible unless he tried to snap off all of the branch barriers, but there were too many of them, and some were too thick for him to break. Then he tried to get to the key, stretching his body out as painfully as possible, hoping his body could somehow... become Inspector Gadget or something. Finally, annoyed and sort of sweaty, he had grabbed his phone, pulling up the network with his thumb.
The messages from TPTB were there and while it was instinctive to feel stung that he won the two survey questions he hadn't wanted to win, Tobias knew he couldn't be upset. He had voted for himself for those two questions, after all. But apparently, others had too. Enough to win both. For some reason, it just triggered a deeper irritation in his chest. Maybe he wouldn't have been angry about it if TPTB hadn't given him a kickass paintball gun and then locked him to a freaking tree.
He would need help. He needed to find out where everyone was so he could get unlocked and play the game. Or hide. His hands were still sweaty from his earlier exertions to break free, so he had to wipe his hand on his camo suit a couple of times to make it easier to grip his phone and try to text with his thumb.
