"Do you speak, um... Fuck, what's it called... Uru?" Marco asked, since Oliver had popped into his head anyway. He turned to look into the rest of the room, in case the guy was passing by, but for now their only company was one of the cats, on the other side of the room. "Oliver speaks a bunch of languages. That's one of them. I think."
He nodded as she briefly explained where she had been, though his mind was on how they'd had a beach once while he'd been here, and it felt like it had been wasted. At least they had the river here. "That's too bad," he said with a shrug.
"Sometimes I think maybe we're not even on Earth anymore," he admitted after a pause, keeping his voice down even though he'd just confirmed that they were alone. He didn't want anyone to think he was getting crazy again, and as far as he knew, Harper didn't know about his illness to automatically attach the statement to it. "Maybe outside the border is the rest of a weird space ship. Like a zoo. Like that Twilight Zone episode."
