Who: Lucy and Marco What: Lucy is back! And a little confused. Where: Their room in the Lodge When: Day 57, 7:30 am.
Lucy shifted in her bed, it felt… different. She couldn’t explain it. She yawned and opened her eyes, her brain felt foggy and strange for a moment. The sort of cobwebs you had when you slept for an extra long time, much longer than you meant to, but she did honestly feel rested. She stretched her arms over her head and popped her neck as she moved, shaking the sleep off of her. She swung her legs over the side of her bed and blinked for a moment as her feet immediately collided with Marco’s inflatable innertube. The room… she raised her eyebrows. Marco must have had a bad night, though she had no idea how she could have slept through it all… especially since she didn’t remember him having blown up the innertube.
And there was clothing everywhere. She was frowning, usually Marco was at least a lot more mindful of keeping his mess to his side of his room. And this seemed to take over the whole room. It was daytime, she didn’t mind taking the wooden block out of the window and pushing it open. She didn’t want to wake Marco up, but she needed some fresh air, and some light so that she could at least square away a little section of her room. She wanted to get things straightened out, so that she could focus on one of the other fifty thousand mysteries she had begun to unravel.
Delicately, she got out of the bed, pushing the inflatable out of the way with her feet. She began to pluck up the clothing delicately, tossing them into a pile that was closer to his side of the room than hers. Though she wasn’t trying to wake Marco up, she also wasn’t being super careful about making extra noise as she straightened things up.
