"Well, if we head out that way on purpose, maybe we oughta bring some pillows and blankets too. No sense in truckin' all the way down there just to turn around and come back after an hour or two," Oliver mused, hunting in the cupboards for a cutting board. The idea of being away from the house overnight didn't sit too well with him, but hadn't he and Edwin already been talking about sneaking off for a bit? The idea of having an actual building around them sounded better than dealing with a tent and whatever was wandering out in the woods.
"Is the play area where all the taxidermy was?" Oliver asked, not really sure if he wanted to sleep with a bunch of beady little eyes staring at him, though he supposed he was probably used to worse with all of the cameras that were still no-doubt everywhere. He reached for a knife, offering the handle to Marco. "You wanna slice these up while I start workin' on the batter? Maybe slice up extra. I'll see if I can't get the elf over here to eat somethin' later, if he doesn't think he'll melt out there."
