Lennon hadn't thought about the possibility of something getting to them inside a building. He'd kind of assumed that as long as they were inside solid walls after dark they'd be fine. He paused in his ascent of the squishy obstacle course at Felix's question. "You can do that?" he asked rhetorically. "Would they even answer?"
Sure, there were people behind this. There had to be, unless they were robots or something crazy like that. But it felt weird to think of messaging them like they were just another housemate.
