"Maybe, but I don't want to risk it," Marco reasoned with Lennon. It wasn't supposed to work that way with snakes, either, but he'd for sure seen that happen on Ripley's Believe It Or Not as a kid. His eyes went wide at Felix's note. "I didn't even think about that! Oliver told me how to tell poison ivy when we first got here, but I forgot what he said. That's smart. That's good thinking." Felix was growing on him very quickly.
He reached to take the prickley pear soda back from Lennon, and he put that on the top of the soda machine, too, after taking a second to sniff it. "This one smells really sweet, so it might be good for last," he suggested. "I don't know if ranch or beef soda sounds grosser."
