"That isn't too far," Harper said as she squinted into the light rain at the lodge. She'd been imagining a longer walk to get to the kitchen and the other things that were over there. She actually laughed as they began to hustle toward the next door building. "You won't believe this, but where I was living looks a lot like this." Everything older, old-fashioned, in some places a touch run down. She guessed that she'd feel right at home... an improved home without her dad. Maybe. It was still too soon to tell what this was going to be like.
