Chase watched Oliver as he settled down, then moved to set the guitar case down next to him. He moved to the pack next, taking the extinguisher out so he could start putting Kiley's clothes back in. "We have to cross the river too," he pointed out. "It's not so bad though."
"I'm okay. Just worn out. Try not to get old, or stuck up a ladder for a few hours, kid," Oliver assured Tobias, offering a small smile as he leaned back on his hands. The one thing he really wanted to do was lay back, but if he did he knew for a fact he'd be down for the count for a while. Now that Chase had mentioned the river he patted a hand down the material of his t-shirt, then across his sleeping pants. The shirt was dry, except for what he'd sweated out, but what he'd first attributed to just being cold from exposure to the elements for who knew how long he realized his pants were damp. Not soaking, likely because he'd been in open space with steady wind access, but enough to notice now that he knew to look for it. "How in the hell did I get across the river?"
