"That could be a good thing," Oliver replied, starting slowly up the ladder. "Generally these towers have some kinda radio equipment. If there's towers all over then that could mean two things. One, if somebody gets stuck out here that means they might have a place to shelter up before nightfall. And two, if there are radios, if we get caught out here without phones, or we're split up between 'em, we might still have a way to communicate with each other." He grunted, pulling himself up then next two rungs. "Either way...only one way to find out."
Chase was nodding, but was focusing on figuring out a way to fasten the chord so it might work in a more permanent manner if Oliver's assumption that this could be used for a shelter in a pinch could be right. Someone might need to climb up, and that person might not actually be that great at rope climbing.
"Maybe we should try to move a big rock or something to act as a step ladder or something before we go," he told Tobias, figuring he could relay that to Oliver once he was back on the ground now that he was progressing so much further up. "Just in case someone does need to get up there in an emergency."
