It was still bizarre to hear someone else describe her relationship with Chase as cute. That was never a word she associated herself with, but it didn't bother her that Edwin thought so. Kiley knew there were some people in the house who didn't understand Chase, and that was okay. She understood him, and that's all that mattered, if you asked her.
"Well, talking about relationships is a normal thing that friends do, right?" Kiley settled back against her chair. "And honestly, I've never talked about my boyfriends to friends before. I don't think I've ever had friends who I felt close enough to do that with. I kind of like having something normal to talks about with you. Even if your boyfriend happens to be house dad." She nudged him with her foot.
