"She knows who feeds her," Felix corrected as lazily toed off his own shoes and dropped his plant off on the dresser. Then he moved to the cage with Lennon first to inspect his rabbit, who stood up on her hind legs with her paws on the bars, wiggling her nose at them expectantly. He opened the cage to take her food dish out, gesturing that Lennon could pick her up if he wanted, then moved to the closet to where the bags of bedding and food were, starting to fill it up. He also discreetly began placing all but three of the k-cups he'd pilfered from the kitchen onto the nightstand, which he'd shoved into the closet earlier as well.
"See what I meant about the ceiling though?" Or, specifically, what he'd meant when he'd mentioned riding Lennon like a cowboy, indicating the handful of feet between the edge of the bed and the ceiling. And, of course, the panel that presumably led to the attic. It wasn't directly over his bed, which he was glad for, but the edge of the loft put it within reach if he was on the mattress. He'd actually tried fiddling with it a bit once his room had been situated, and after he'd stashed Jerome's ring in his light, but it hadn't budged. Probably for the best.
"It's a hell of a lot more comfortable than the other bed was though. And we won't have to sleep on top of each other the next time you end up here overnight-ow, shit," he grunted as the oversized mug that had been part of Pam's giftbasket slipped out of his hand and onto his foot as he pulled it off of the shelf. The sudden pain nearly caused him to drop the full dish of bunny food he had in his other hand, but as he looked down he was more focused on the growing red crescent shaped mark on his foot, and whether or not the mug was intact. It seemed okay.
