"At least you didn't have to carry the bed and couch," Lennon said. "That would suck. I got one of those pothos plants, you know, the ones you can grow out into long vines? It'll look cool with all those windows." He'd thought about the room upgrade, but he hadn't been sure how that would have worked when he was sharing a room. Plus he'd wanted all the other shit he'd asked for more.
He moved ahead to open the door to the mill since Felix was carrying a plant and he only had a tape in his hands. "Of course," he said, his own smile lopsided and his gaze mischievous. "I'll save you some, and if it isn't everything you expected? I guess I'll owe you... whatever you want." He held Felix's gaze for a few seconds, realizing he'd forgotten how much he enjoyed flirting and innuendo.
