Marco hadn't asked for much, but he was pretty sure he was happy with what he'd requested, despite his popcorn still being missing, much like everyone else's single serving food requests. The sneakers had been a weird impulse thing, just something residual from his years on the street, when his shoes would wear out, or worse, get stolen right off his feet. He wasn't sure he needed them here, but the ones that he had been given were comfortable, and didn't pinch or feel too loose anywhere. It was still weird that TPTB knew how to do that, but in this case, he wasn't about to complain.
The VHS was a little bit more complicated. Oliver must have known, having asked to watch it with him already, but Marco hadn't been able to commit to sitting down to watch it yet. Lilo and Stitch was his and Juno's movie, and while he still loved it, he was having trouble finding the will to watch it so far. It still hurt that Juno wasn't there.
Knowing that other people missed her just as much, Marco wondered if maybe he should just have a little viewing party, in honor of their missing friend. Maybe one his popcorn arrived. The movie wouldn't mean the same thing to anyone else, but still, Jack missed Juno, and Lennon missed Juno, and they both knew about the Lilo and Stitch thing. Maybe that was enough.
Or maybe misery just loved company, and this entire plan was stupid.
Or maybe he shouldn't ask Lennon to join, because Oliver wanted the time alone with him? Shit, maybe he should have asked first.
Whatever he ended up deciding with the movie thing, Marco was knocking on Lennon's door anyway. He probably should have checked in sooner, after the whole corpse thing, but it seemed like Lennon's other friends had had that covered. Knocking seemed silly with the door wide open, but he did it anyway, if just because it looked like Lennon was really focused on whatever he was working on.
"Are you allowed to do that?" he wondered without crossing the threshold. "I don't actually know what the rules are with doing stuff like that here. Painting on the walls before was a big no-no."
