Ivy set the dish of eggs to the side and shook her head. “I don’t know. It says some know on some level, but they may not be aware that their affinity for something has any connection to why they’re here. I mean, affinity could mean a couple of things, right? Having a natural ability? Or feeling connected or attracted to someone else because you have similar interests? So maybe we’re all good at something specific, or we’re all... similar in some way? I don’t know. I was waiting for Pam and Lucy to get their cards before reaching out to everyone. Lucy’s been decoding the subject numbers so I didn’t want to step on her toes. But it’s something! I feel like we’re getting closer to some real answers.” And already she was hoping for another challenge or game that gave them the opportunity to ask more questions. She wanted to keep the momentum going and not get complacent again.
Ivy slipped off the bed and clapped her hands together. “I’m going to go wash my hands and tied my hair back. You can get undressed while I’m in the bathroom. If you’re ready, I mean.”
