Lila moved to sit down, eying the rabbit in the cage briefly before she refocused on Felix. She listened to his thoughts, letting them simmer for a moment. "So you think I should pretend like Simms is alive? If I've been with him this whole time, or at least some of it, I'm going to have to know more about what happened after I was gone. And what if his kid starts asking questions I can't answer?"
It wasn't realistic to think she and Simms would suddenly know everything about one another, but still, Lila would rather be prepared. "Honestly, the only two people who will probably care that Simms might be alive is his kid and the one that killed him. That eases the guilt, if he's feeling any, but it may scare him too, because there's a chance Simms is brought back." Not that she cared about Tobias being scared. That was one of the perks of this potential plan.
