At first Jack was a little confused as to why Lucy was telling him about the net, but he realized that without someone else stepping up to say they'd take over actually fishing duties, by default people were probably expecting him to catch on top of cleaning and cooking.
He opened his mouth, not really sure what he planned on saying about it, and despite the fact that he knew Lucy hadn't meant it like volunteering him for duty, or anything bad by it, it annoyed him a little. Especially once he got a look around the room at all of the people who weren't working on the garden, or planning on making traps, or talking about building whatever the hell they were doing. It felt wrong to think poorly about anyone, and maybe it was down to the alcohol, but dammit he was.
Instead of speaking, he downed the rest of his shot. At least Lucy was trying, and he made an effort to at least not sound annoyed at her. "Well figure something out if no one else wants to step up, okay. Not really braining too well right now."
