Edwin blinked a few times, trying to clear out tears, and was still unable to pull his gaze away as Lennon spoke. He nodded a little, wondering if they would have to take the torso back to the house to do that, or maybe they could make scoops out of water bottles? That's take all day, and leave them without water, though...
It took Felix crying out to finally break Edwin's focus, and without knowing what was happening, he drew his sword in a flash, holding it in the direction Felix had fallen, still hyperventilating, but tense and just ready to tear into something, especially if it meant stopping this from happening again. There was nothing to fight, though, and it took Edwin a moment to realize that Felix must have triggered his implant against the barrier. He lowered his sword, hands still shaking. He wanted to plunge it into the ground, just release some tension, but it was safer to holster it, which he did carefully before moving to go help Felix up. "Careful, careful! Don't move back into the barrier!" he warned as Felix flailed, then offered a hand up as soon as he was at his side. It meant walking through blood, but if they were going to bury the body, they'd have to anyway. He tried to choke back another sob.
