The look Felix gave him was everything. It didn't matter to him right now what either of their motivations were... what mattered was distraction, something different, something fun. "Well, the day's not over yet," he said, matching Felix's teasing tone.
He began sketching a quick red and magenta flower at the base of the tree as Felix read, but soon he had to pull the marker away because he was laughing and didn't want to ruin the drawing. "My butt's a solid nine for sure," he said, snickering. "Maybe nine and a half. Also, FLUFF BOOTY." He took the rest of the Sharpies out of his pockets and put them down next to the baseboard, then ambled over to plop down on the end of the bed. "Break time. I feel like I smell like a giant Sharpie." He sniffed the back of his hand, trying to decide.
