"Don't worry," Dylan reassured him. "It's fine for right now. A little stiff, a little sore, not at the 'slow me down' level. I'm just warning you in advance in case it happens." She hoped the gentler terrain they had now would mean their walk got easier and her knee would stay warm and loose instead of stiffening up on her. Experience told her it'd get stiff eventually, but maybe she could put if off if she didn't stop moving until they were at the marker.
She used her phone to orient them, keeping a firm grip on Edwin, and pointed dramatically in the direction of their marker. "Onward to adventure!" she declared, and hoped it wasn't some kind of creepy horror show that awaited them at the end.
