Chase grumbled again, this time not really trying to form words. He stepped back to her, his frown still in place, but when she smiled he made an effort to do the same. It didn't really make sense that, considering she'd actually lived it and he was only seeing the aftermath, that she should be trying to make him feel better, but he loved her for it anyway.
"They were only in there for, like...an hour," he pointed out half-heartedly, though he really didn't know what the actual timetable had been. He slipped an arm over her shoulders, pulling her closer as he steered them back towards the path that would take them away from the cemetery. "You were way more badass."
