It was interesting that she hadn't given the cemetery much thought when Chase asked her to go with him to look for the others. Kiley had nightmares about the mausoleum every now and then, but nothing that paralyzed her to the point where she couldn't function. And frankly, so much had happened between then and now that being trapped in the cemetery with Pam felt like ages ago.
But now, getting closer to the place itself, Kiley had been dealing with prickles of anxiety and her stomach was starting to hurt a little. She didn't blame Chase for it. If she recognized she had a problem with this place before now, she would have told him. But Kiley hadn't recognized it, and she didn't want to be a downer about it now either.
"I'm fine," she told him with a grin. "I mean, as long as I'm not going into any underground holes or anything. I really wish they would stop hiding people though. Or at least wait until it's spring and we can enjoy the weather while we're playing hide and seek."
