“You’re only glad I made it downstairs so that you wouldn’t have to make your own pot of coffee.” Lucy said with a wink, but there was no malice in her voice. Scotty was becoming one of the people that she really didn’t mind spending time with, it wasn’t weird or awkward like it tended to be with some people.
“Uh.. yeah, a little bit.” Lucy said with a tiny frown tugging at her lips. “I’m very sorry, It came up in a conversation and I probably shouldn’t have continued on the way it did.” Lucy’s apology was sincere, and she had gotten a little carried away by Vanessa’s surprising revelation. “She didn’t say that you were together… I asked.” Lucy shrugged.
Lucy pulled the pot of coffee off, and pour some into her cup before putting it back and moving away a bit to give Scotty room to fix his own cup. “I mean, thats possible, but how would you explain the haymonsters?” They had terrified her, and the power had been off, so how could they possibly be some sort of illusion or hologram?
