Who: Oliver and Edwin Where: The parlor/Secret costume closet When: 12:30ish
When Edwin had returned to the room from his excursion with Dylan wearing a masquerade mask the day before and carrying an armload of others, the first word out of Oliver's mouth had been that of course he'd found a costume closet. If anyone was going to sniff that sort of thing out, it'd be the elf. His first thought had been 'how much space are we gonna have to clear out of our suitcases this time around' until he realized they hadn't actually been given bags. Now it just felt mean to give Edwin access to more costumes and no way to bring anything home.
Well, not home.
Now Oliver stood in front of the fireplace in the parlor just thankful that the darned thing wasn't on. For someone who had spent months getting acclimated to winter, this sudden summer humidity was a bit rough. He stood in a pair of dark brown cargo shorts and the least visually-offensive Hawaiian shirt in the closet, pale blue and plastered with giant, cream-colored hibiscus flowers, unbuttoned and open in a rather futile effort to let whatever draft there was keep him cool.
"So how'd you two find this again?" he asked as he headed for one of the windows just to make sure it was open.
