"Oh. No, that sounds different," Pam said, though her focus was no longer on the holiday, instead on the big pot in the fridge. She let out a loud sigh in relief when she was assured that it wasn't a head. "Thank god! I mean, I don't know why it would have been that, but you can't just surprise someone with a giant pot like that!" She didn't actually seem upset that she'd been surprised. In fact, she seemed amused at her own strange reaction.
She ducked around Jerome, pulling the lid off the pot and peering inside, before dipping a finger in and tasting what she pulled back out. It could have been a stew, but it had more of a kick than what she was used to. "Oh! I think this is gumbo," she explained. "That's, like, a New Orleans thing. I've never had it! It's probably supposed to be warm... Well that's kind of neat!"
