"I think I remember most of what the welcoming committee shtick was. I can throw something up," Felix nodded, taking another sip of his coffee before setting it down and pulling his cell out once more.
Ettie's eyes moved from Audrey to Felix's phone almost instantly once the familiar shape was in view, and her entire body jolted. "Where did you get that?" The question came almost too excitedly, her immediate hope only slightly diminishing after a heartbeat when she reminded herself that if it actually worked like it was supposed to they'd probably all be out of there by now.
"It only connects to the network, and the other phones around here," Felix replied, his tone a little regretful. "Everyone who was here before had one. It's useful if you want to leave the house and head into town, but it doesn't connect out." He glanced at his phone, scrolling through some of the new posts on the network. "Levi's getting on it a bit." Glancing back up to Audrey, he frowned thoughtfully. "Should I tell people about the names-on-doors thing? If something goes down it would probably be a good idea to know which rooms are occupado."
