Waking up in a new place was never particularly easy, but Oliver counted it as a win that the toughest thing he'd had to deal with so far that morning was actually just getting out of bed. He knew that inevitably the shit would eventually hit the fan while they were there, it was foolish to think otherwise, knowing what they'd all gone through so far, so the idea of just spending the day enjoying the sun with Edwin while they could sounded amazing, but he didn't have it in him to deny Jerome.
Considering how complicated and awkward Edwin and Jerome's last lengthy interaction had been, it was probably good that he and his boyfriend had gone their separate ways for the afternoon, even if Edwin had spent most of the morning teasing him about spending time with his "second boyfriend". He'd contemplated doing the same in return in regard to Edwin hanging out with Dylan, but calling her his "girlfriend" felt wrong. Not because of anything involving him, but even now it still felt more like Georgie's title than anyone's.
It wasn't particularly difficult to find the kitchen, even if the obvious scent of chocolate couldn't have led him there on its own. "Alright, forget sandwiches," he called as he entered the unfamiliar room, giving a cursory glance around before his gaze landed on Jerome, smiling amiably. "We're adults. We can have chocolate for lunch."
