Who: Tobias and Open
Where: The Billiards room
When: Mid morning
As much as he felt safe hiding in his room all day, every day, Tobias had been starting to feel a bit closed in and edgy. Cabin fever, maybe, only worse because he was in such a small space and the only times he ventured out was to grab food, or go bother his friends for a while, hiding in their room instead of his own. It was starting to get to him, not feeling like he could go anywhere or do anything because he was too afraid of running into Scotty. Today he'd finally had enough and he somehow bucked up enough courage to get out of his room and head downstairs.
It took a while, because he kept pausing at every landing in case he heard voices, but eventually he made it to the kitchen to get a snack, which then led him into the billiards room. It was mercifully empty and Tobias wandered for a moment, hands in pockets, until he finally picked up the darts to play a game alone. He could have asked Chase or Lennon to join him, but Tobias had begun to feel a bit like a pain in the ass, even though he knew they wouldn't see it that way. He just wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, or say. He didn't want people thinking he was a murderer, and he knew there were enough people to back up his side of the whole story, but at the same time, Tobias just wanted to pretend like nothing had happened at all. They had brought Simms's son into the house to cause problems, he was sure of it. But Tobias also figured that if he just ignored the guy completely, maybe They would grow bored with the situation and remove Scotty all together.
Sighing, Tobias tossed a dart toward the board and watched it stick near the bullseye with a soft thunk. Focusing on something helped, at least.
