Edwin didn't flinch when Jerome started yelling, just sighed and tilted his head back a little bit, looking a little annoyed while he waited for the moment to pass. He had never actually gotten the chance to be a teacher, but he imagined that had he had gotten the chance to teach high school, or even just sub, this is the sort of shit he would have hated about it. He didn't want to deal with fights, especially when they halted the progress that they were trying to make. He continued to stay quiet as Audrey spoke up, and when she was done, he waited a beat, using the moment to scratch at his brow, before speaking up. "Cool," he said, putting his frustration into that one word, then continued on calmly. "So we've established that the way that Joe reacted this morning wasn't great, and he's not going to do anything like that again, right?" He glanced at Joe, then back to Jerome. "So now we're going to talk about all that scary stuff that you also just learned about, so we can move past that fight or flight reflex, and then I'm sure Joe will give Lucy a deserved apology. Sound good?" Again, he looked from one man to the other, before turning back to look at Oliver again, not sure if he was looking for him to show that he was doing an okay job here, or if he just needed somewhere to look so he could silently express how frustrating this is.
He frowned as he turned back around and listened to Joe's questions, sure that Audrey had just answered at least one of them. "They knock us out to move us," he provided, hoping that everyone could share the task of answering questions.
