Kiley was not as strong as she liked to think she was, but she managed to stay on her feet, fairly balanced as Pam pushed at the hatch door. She wasn't surprised to find it was still locked, or stuck, but that didn't mean she wasn't frustrated by it. The muscles in her legs tightened and Kiley began to carefully, but quickly, crouch down again. If she didn't, they would both fall over and Kiley didn't want to risk breaking Pam's arm or anything.
"Okay, off, off..." This sucked. "We'll keep trying. And maybe someone will come by, and we'll hear footsteps or something. Hell, we'll just scream every twenty minutes or whatever and hope someone hears, okay?"
