"If we don't get anything immediate off the feeds, we'll check the network," Audrey said, nodding to Levi and Felix as she sipped her tea. "It's possible we're up too early for any real action to go down on the cameras. It's more or less comfortable down here, so I'm not in any particular hurry to get back upstairs. Unless there's something good going on." If there was action to be had, it wouldn't look good for them to disappear for the whole of it. It had been tempting to hide all day during the bug invasion, but it would've been suspicious if their group had disappeared for the whole mess.
She toasted Felix with her mug of tea. "Also a good point. I'm not keen on blindly opening the door to fuckery without warning. If there's something crazy going on, chances are no one's updated the network at all while they run around topless or whatever else they feel is a good idea at the time. Maybe Daphne's already in the theater watching," she added as an afterthought, though the untouched condition of the other bunks and the clean kitchen that showed no signs of earlier use were not encouraging signs.
