Alex had only been in awhile since his day of attempted sleding. He was laid across his bed reading as her scream hit him, he screamed himself dropping the book and covering his ears. It was the worst noise he had ever heard in his life. More painful than being shot.
Once the ringing started to fade despite the pain he pushed off the bed and on uneven feet started running towards the lobby. He didn't know why but he could feel that was where he needed to be. Of course, he didn't think about grabbing his shirt when he took off towards the noise so a shirtless Alex jumped over the railing landing hard enough on his ankles they should have broken by all rights. Still seeing the redhead at first he was worried it was her sister until he got closer. "Lydia?" He asked a little louder than he meant to, there was dried blood from one nostril and his ears. Despite the fact it's already healed, clearly his body didn't handle the banshee scream well.
