All she does is stare at him for a long moment at his words, a hint of the anger she felt earlier showing up again, but she can't hold on to it. She doesn't feel strong enough to right now.
"And what good is that?" Apologizing, forgiving, talking, if he's still going to be gone. If she's still losing him? The only thing in her voice is the hurt and the pain that that idea causes her, though. Is it better to forgive him now and spend whatever time they have left with him, or to shut him down and save herself the extra pain? Can she even forgive him when she knows what's coming? What he's choosing?
