Despite the obvious air of awkwardness that hangs between them, he can't help the smile that splits across his face, warm and genuine, as she greets him. "Hey..." he runs a hand over the back of his neck, trying to think of something beyond that entirely lackluster greeting to say.
"Maybe it's just a matter of explaining things to her..."
