"Lydia..." his voice shakes a little. He can practically feel what she is even from a few feet away. The fear, the sorrow, the swirl of emotions she's feeling, it's almost dizzying.
He moves carefully, getting to his feet and moving to where she stands, a hand on her arm, slowly circling so he's in front of her. "talk to me. Okay?" he moves his hand away from her arm, instead lacing his fingers through hers. "We've gotten through-- so much, the last couple years...because we did it together." He hesitates, his eyes trailing up to lock on her own. "Don't shut me out. Please?" There is a fear so open and honest, raw reflecting in his eyes. She's all he has anymore. Especially here, in this hotel. He can't lose her. Not her, too.
