The question cuts sharply through the room, and the directness of it carries an awkward weight with it. He's close to Lydia, has been for years now, but their sexlives were kind of an obvious off-limit conversation as a general rule. The fact that he brought it up didn't make the phrasing of her question less awkward, though.
"Yes." he admits quietly, not even really looking at her. And since they're already here, he'll just continue because there's no turning back at this point. "In the moment..it was easy to just-- fall back into the familiar, but..." He shakes his head a little, "It feels wrong. Like I'm taking advantage of her. And I don't know...what to do. I can't do this, right? I mean-- she doesn't even remember who I am."
