[When she feels his arm, steadying her, she looks to him sharply, wondering just where the hell he came from.
For one fleeting moment, she doesn't see his face. She sees something...other.
And oddly, monstrous as it is, the vision doesn't scare her. It's the confusion she feels, the inability to understand...that's what scares her.
It takes her a moment to shake it off and nod, now more aware of simply being close to him. It's not unpleasant--it's all kinds of not unpleasant, in fact it's very much a feeling she'd like to repeat--]
Yeah! [Too loud, kind of high pitched...she clears her throat and tries again.] Yeah, yeah I'm--fine. I'm okay. Uh...thanks?
