Pup update, all around, Tuesday. (OTA?)
Lately Wayne had started feeling neglected. It was as if the Human was trying to ignore her duties - she seemed to be staying out of the house longer and longer and when she was in, she barely bothered to serve him. Wayne had done his best to let her know that canned food every single day was not nearly good enough for him, and had tried to remind the Human that he required entertainment.
So once again on Tuesday morning Wayne decided to try again. Deftly he hopped on the big, soft bed and trodded on the duvet until he reached the big long lump that he knew was the Human.
"Gooo awaaaayyyy," was the sleepy groan from under the duvet as Wayne walked purposefully on top of her.
As if that wasn't enough, the phone started suddenly ringing on the night table.
"Noooooo," was another groan, but Wayne was soon delighted to see the Human pop up her head - her dark long hair all messy and tousled, but instead of giving him some attention, she grabbed the phone instead.
"Emily Brandon," she answered without looking at the screen for the caller's name.

Around noon another over-worked Manorite was ready to groan "nooooo" as well. Thomas Avery's phone had been ringing all too much for his liking since before Thanksgiving, but this time the caller was of the worst sort. His sister. He rolled his eyes and set the phone aside, letting it ring without answering it. Lord knows what his sister had come up with this time - like spending Christmas in the City? Working out the inventory list of the wine cellar was a lot more fun that considering that possibility.

While dusting in the conservatory, Susan had noticed some of the Christmas lights in the windows had gone dark. So much work getting them up with the maintenance team and then they burn out! Grumbling to herself she paused the dusting to try and find out what had happened to the lights, even if she was already considering calling the maintenance boys.

Laura was the only one who had not noticed an increase in her work-load because of the Holiday season. In fact, she was sitting comfortably in the Mocha, dressed warmly but in all-black, stirring a big mug of hot cocoa, and watching snow fall in the park. If she wasn't careful, she might even get on Holiday spirits!
