Everyone, Everywhere, mostly evening..... all OTA/MW
Ang was settled in the pool, drifting and lapping alternately, an exercise that Alec had agreed to, and which she was making the most of having left Gavin with his father for a bath and bedtime routine they mostly had down pat. Her mind was racing though, through the essay due next week that she had almost finished, but was indefinably unhappy with. She'd missed something, something, "Conditioning!" She suddenly sat up in the water, unaware that someone else was in the pool house, "I forgot about the damn conditioning!"

----

Emma was in the Gym, the phys ed component of her year was not going well, and she was doing her best to improve that with a few miles on the treadmill, and some light weights, but, really, could she have known less about what she was doing? Just then, she was sat on a mat, supposedly stretching, but in reality, mostly in a dream about opening an exhibition in a gallery, her exhibition, a brilliant success...... strangely enough she was smiling, despite the hunched posture and oddly extended leg that she was bent over.

----

Icene had finished emptying her apartment. The last of her belongings had gone, either to Adams, or the local good will. She'd advised her parents of the apartment number change, but only her father knew what was going on. He'd confessed her mother was slipping still further, and Icene was now worrying over a black coffee, that thankfully remained such, whilst shredding a muffin into crumbs.... should she go home? Could she do anything? Would she just make it worse? And if her mother was as far gone as her father said, would she even realise who Icene was? She sat, without realising she was crying, as a single solitary tear drifted down her face, slowly freezing until a small bead of ice fell from her chin into the mess of crumbs on the plate.

----

Gregori was cheerfully stuffing mailroom boxes with small samples of chocolates, he'd left a box that first time for Ashlynn, and that had given him the idea, now he dropped half a dozen chocs, in bags, into each box in the apartment, complete with a business card, and a small copy of the 'menu'. He was humming a Christmas Carol, because there were no good halloween songs.

----

Cleo browsed the library shelves, wondering, not for the first time, why she'd picked the courses she had. All this studying was not helping her find a date, and with halloween coming up, surely a costume for the rumoured ball was far more important than an essay. She found the book she was looking for, and turned, only to drop the book as someone else was right there, "Oh madre de dios! You made me jump!"

----

Spencer had been in meetings, and was feeling tired and drained. But there were chores to be done, so tonight he was staring blankly at the washing machine as it revolved rhythmically before him, the towels tumbling in and out of the soapy water, his mind seeking only rest and respite from worry and stress. Christmas was coming, the store was gearing up, and yet, he just couldn't find any enthusiasm for any of it. It worried him.

----

Jane was quietly clearing up the daycare centre, slowly cleaning up the spilled paint, the ground in clays, and setting things to rights. Alongside her were a couple of the last remaining children, who's parents hadn't yet arrived to collect them, even though officially the daycare part of their work was over. She was happy though, because the children were helping, and it was all good, however imperfectly they did it, they really were helping! "That's it, one more brush into the pan, and yes! You've got it! Well done," she smiled at the young boy, "Now, can you get it to the bin without spilling it?"

She looked up to see another parent arriving, "Evening! We've had a lovely day, everything all right?"

"You know, Gregori," Urquhart said, leaning against a pillar in the mailroom as if he'd been there all the time, and not just quietly come in a minute ago, "half the people will think they're being poisoned. And half of the other half will think that chocolate is evil. The remaining quarter, though, might just empty out your shop."

"Ha!" Gregori laughed, "I would like to see them do that, we are making steady progress, some good days some not so good, but we do very good business at weekends, and on Mondays for some reason!"

He posted a bag into the last box, and had a couple of bags left over, "I think I may need more help before Christmas, Paul and I, we work very hard to make the chocolates, and we enjoy seeing them sold, but, we are only just keeping up. More sales would mean making more chocolate, means needing more help." He tossed a bag towards Urquhart, "I have spares! Have some chocolates!"

Urquhart caught the bag easily, one-handedly, without really looking.

"Hah," he laughed, "what about the three quarters who think this is evil?"

"They can give them to someone else, who will say how good they are and can they get more, and I will still get customers?" Gregori was more than prepared to be optimistic, after all, he was doing reasonably well, and cooking up chocolates all hours of the day and night just to keep up with demand.

"That I won't, just in case, would be too depressing!" Gregori shook his head, "I'd far rather not know if they're throwing them away."

He opened the bag in his hand, and pulled out a chocolate, "You know, I really can't decide which of my chocolates is my favourite."

"I'll be sure to remember that come Christmas etc. Not for Halloween though, I have special ideas for that date, including a party I believe here at the Manor?" Gregori grinned, there was a whole raft of ideas sparking in his head almost daily, and he kept a notebook and pencil in a back pocket now to make notes. "I know I have new design gift boxes for Christmas already on order, I have the hang of it now?"

"Well I have to make loads anyway, so I figured what the heck, make some extra for here, and hopefully encourage those who still haven't been to my shop by then to come pay me a visit, and some dollars!" Gregori laughed, "We're playing with colours at the moment, some of the white chocolate is going to be orange, or green, and the fillings might be a little, odd too. Not sure pumpkin works, but we might have eyeballs and spiders?"

Along with a seriously rich mix of alcoholic fillings for the grown ups, even if they were in fancy Halloween colours.

"At Halloween yes, other times, most people say no, but I like the options of going all out for the fun side of food with chocolates that just, push the boundaries. Paul was working on a thick liquid filling, cherry and kirsch for the grown ups, strawberry and raspberry syrup for the kids, you bite into the chocolate and it oozes out. Bright red." Gregori grinned, "I want him to make me some green as well, maybe lime and tequila, or apple and melon?"

"Oh yes, and we're all about having fun when that starts!" Gregori chuckled, "Hopefully we can knock out enough different varieties, mostly we've been doing chocolate mousse filled pumpkins and white chocolate ghosts, but, the kids love those anyway. If the party ideas go down well, next year we'll market a Halloween special box for the grown ups who party as hard as their kids do!"

"I check," Gregori picked up a holdall style bag from by his feet, and opened it, nothing in the main compartment, but he did check the ends as well, "Aha! Just the one extra? I had to put a couple of bags in some of the apartments, where I know there are two women? Would not do to make them share now would it?"

He tossed the last bag to Urquhart, "Other will be in mailbox, truly," he grinned, "you let me know how these go down da? I like to get the feedback. Especially the good feedback!"

Tristan had gone down to pick up Harvey for Rhiannon. He nodded to Jane and smiled.

"Absolutely. Rhiannon asked me to come get Harvey for her. I hope that's all right?" He asked, unsure if he was actually allowed to take Harvey from daycare.

"Oh that's fine, we have you on the list, and besides, Harvey here would be gutted if I said he couldn't leave me with all this cleaning, right Harvey?" Jane grinned, watching as he tipped the dustpan into the bin very carefully, and then turned to head back towards them.

She crouched down to take the dustpan and brush off him as he returned, "You did really well today, thank you for helping, but now, you want to get your coat and the picture you did today?"

Jane chuckled, "He's been telling us all about how she kicks and it tickles his hand?" She took the picture out of his hands while he put his coat on, not that he'd need it indoors, but it was easier than carrying two things. "You ok with the coat or do you need a hand? He drew a great picture for you guys, it's a really beautiful family portrait."

She held the picture up where Tristan could see it, "Harvey seems very interested in art, but, what do you think of this? I love it."

Tristan gave Harvey a hand putting on his jacket and looked at the picture Jane held out. "Rhi said his mother was artistically talented, so he could have gotten it from her."

His picture looked pretty good for a kid though, and he was sure Rhiannon would go crazy over it. "It's going to go on the fridge when we get home. After Rhiannon checks it out."

She looked up at Tristan, "You guys have a great evening yes? He's a lovely boy, one of our better ones."

Raymond had never been a particularly large guy, and his little inconvenience didn't really help matters. Added to this that his mailbox was a bit higher up than he'd have liked made the sudden falling chocolate a little surprising.

"Help!" he called out, more out of a startled, pre-programmed response than anything.

"Woah there, don't drop the chocolates!" Gregori grinned, "They're hand made, and, do you need a hand getting all that junk mail and stuff out of the box?"

He was at least tall enough to see clearly into the box, there was quite a stack of stuff nearer the back, probably why the chocolates had fallen out.

"Uhm..." He looked up at the box and sighed. "Yeah, please."

He might, he decided, have to take the suggestion of a step ladder seriously. Just stick it over in the corner, out of the way of everyone else.

With a bit of effort, he was able to pick back up the chocolates and get a look at them. "Did you put them in there?" he asked.

Gregori pulled the rest of the mail out of the box, and set it on the counter in front of the man, "So, I am Gregori, and yes, I make the chocolates, and I put them in the mailboxes, in these cute little bags, because I have new shop open on Vine Square and I am interested in getting customers to come visit there. Is good idea da?"

"Thanks," Raymond said, picking up the mail and sliding it into his messenger bag. "It's a very good idea. I should have thought of something like that."

He honestly meant it.

"Now I'll have to come up with something else, since you took the really good idea."

Then again, the sorts of things Raymond sold probably would not do well to hide in mailboxes.

"I don't know about that, but I believe any and all parties can be good, too many is just too many, but that doesn't happen often." Mostly around TV Awards season, but he wasn't in that business any more. "Is costume ball as well this one. Should be fun to see what other tenants dress up as?"

He had no idea what he was going as, probably something super simple, like, himself... he was probably going to be making chocolates until half an hour before anyway, or they'd have no stock for the next day!
