Rhiannon kissed Harvey's cheek. "See? I told you. Everything will be fine," she assured him again. "No matter what, we'll be fine."
Harvey sighed and rubbed at his eyes again, then leaned his head against Rhiannon's shoulder. When he seemed to calm down a little, Rhiannon did too. Sophie chose that moment to begin kicking in her tummy, and she moved Harvey's hand to where the fluttering could be felt. "Your sister says she wants you to stop being upset," she said softly against Harvey's hair.
"How does she know?" Harvey asked in a watery voice, bottom lip sticking out stubbornly even though he lightly rubbed Rhiannon's belly over the fluttering.
"Because she loves you and she can hear. Remember? And you have to help me take care of her."
Harvey took a deep breath and nodded, wiping his nose. "I know."
"Get us a tissue, baby. Please," Rhiannon said with a little smile to Tristan as she kissed Harvey's forehead again. "Some ice cream. Would some ice cream make it better?" She asked him as she cuddled him close.
