"Can she really hear me?" Harvey asked, sitting up and looking curiously down at Rhiannon's stomach.
"Yep," Rhiannon said as her hand smoothed over her stomach. "She lets us know she can hear us by moving around when she hears someone she knows or loves. Talk to her," she said and gestured to he stomach.
Harvey looked skeptical, but leaned in and put his hand on her tummy. "Hi Sophie," he said in a soft voice. "I'm Harvey. I'll teach you how to build a fort if you're not dumb like other girls."
Rhiannon laughed, but felt the flutter of the baby moving in her stomach. She moved Harvey's hand so he could feel the kick, and his eyes lit up. "She knows me!"
"Of course she does," Rhiannon said with a smile. "You're her big brother. You're special to her."
"Can I read her a story?" He asked, standing up. "And show her my Pokemon cards?"
Rhiannon laughed. "Sure. I bet she'd like that."
Harvey took off down the hall and Rhiannon smiled Tristan.
