He put his hand up and added, "Hear me out," Before she possibly interrupted with another 'what?' or something similar. "It makes economic sense between the two of us. You'd have half the amount of rent and all to pay," see, he wasn't even insisting on paying for everything, cause he knew she'd get all uptight about that.
"And besides that, we won't have to figure out in advance where we're going for the night, if we have clean clothes there, if we need shit from the other apartment and whether or not Slate's been fed for the night," Or carted to the proper apartment and so on. He arched his eyebrows a little and set his hand back down on his knee, while he gave her a couple moment to let that reasoning, hopefully, sink in so she could form a response that was hopefully positive and, y'know, didn't turn into a fight.
