Chosen bits from the day's Herald
The Herald's newest issue had a couple of stories that were sure to catch the eye of the Manorites, and have the City talking about the Manor again.
Truth behind Olivia Paige's dramatic weight loss: dumped by divorced CEO!
The headline was decorated with pictures of Olivia Paige and Robert O'Connor, and later on in the story also a tragic photo of Olivia's brother being released from the hospital. The story went on in a scandalized tone about how the rich GreasaĆ founder and CEO Robert O'Connor had been dating Olivia Paige, had been there when her brother had gotten seriously injured, and somehow the story was written so that it gave the image that the whole incident was somehow related to O'Connor and perhaps even his fault. The article was sure to make the man a villain in also the relationship, telling that he had cruelly dumped her after a while of using the beautiful celebrity, and in the end Olivia seemed like the pitiful victim who has been tossed around like a doll and is now so devasted she can't even take care of herself.
The paper also featured another interesting story:
Morningstar Manor The biggest and most exlusive gay community of the City
It was written like a fashion or life-style article, highlighting how exclusive, fabulous and an absolute must the Morningstar Manor was for everyone who wanted to be anyone - and everyone knows the gay are always ahead in everything. The story told about how many openly gay people live in the Manor, and how so many of them have found unlikely companions - the big name Declan McNamara finding and falling for Jack Doyle, the local band Arcane and its members who were all homosexual, even one of the Angel's Spa owners Kristof Angyali finding love with a dance teacher. "If you are without a special someone of the same sex, the Morningstar Manor is the place to look for one."
(OOC: That's right, the first stories about the Manor written by Robin Reed, aka Susan the maid.)
