Gregori was more than happy to sit, sipping his coffee and watching her move easily to and from the counter. His own dusty jeans and somewhat grubby white tee-shirt teamed with steel toed boots, he knew he looked like a labourer, it was more than deliberate, since he had been labouring in the shop. He waited until she was sat down again before he spoke, "Ah, the cake did look good, but, the lemon tarte was very much as it was promised, have you tried that here?"
He smiled, brushing fingers through still dusty hair, "So, how is business? Getting ready for the long break? I hope to be open by the time you are back in the kitchens."
