"I hope so," Rhiannon whispered back and paused to kiss him briefly on the mouth. She assumed his father was still watching, but right then she didn't care. She needed that kiss, and she'd given up on being deemed good enough for Tristan by the hag that had just flown off to the living room, so she was just going to do what made her happy.
Harvey was looking like he was feeling the strain too and she let go of Tristan to scoop him up.
"Are you ready for pizza?" she asked him, then leaned in to whisper "Please don't fart at the table!"
It made Harvey giggle wildly. "I won't, Aunt Rhi!" he said and Rhiannon smiled, then kissed both of his cheeks before sitting him down and walking into the dining room with Tristan.
