Re: Glass fall
Laura had been waiting for the elevator with Smith when the crash deafened her ears for a moment.
"What the fuck was..." she mumbled when she turned around, but when she saw the destruction, her mouth was left open in terror. People started running, the staff was working frantically getting help.
She was just thinking she hoped no one had gotten badly hurt when she heard someone scream her name. Laura but glanced at Smith, and then without hesitation sprinted back into the freezing cold pool house, wearing only a blue beach dress over her white bikini, with her towel still over her shoulder.
"Olivia!" she answered recognizing her. Immediately she noticed that it was not Olivia who was hurt, but the young man Laura had seen her with earlier. Without wasting time for questions, she dashed to the man's side. Laura was already freezing, but she bit her teeth together when she knelt down into the snow and carefully pushed and lifted some of the debris from on top of the man.
"Olivia? Are you hurt?" Laura asked sharply to get an answer out of the shocked Olivia. At the same time she was constantly working - checking the man's pulse, getting the rubble from on top of him, and seeing exactly how he's hurt and if she can remove the shards from his flesh or not.
