The car pulled into a long graveled driveway, a gate closing behind them swiftly. The house came into view, white and as regal as a house could probably look, with pillars on the porch and balconies around the top floors. A white stable stood off to the left of the house. On the porch a man waited at the steps, descending them when the car approached.
He opened the door for Rhiannon and nodded his welcoming to her. "Afternoon, Miss Mackenzie."
The front door opened and inside it Anabella Winters was trying to not look like she was scowling, or examining the girl who she'd invited to see her. When Rhiannon got to the door she smiled a little. "Yes, good afternoon, Rhiannon. Henry can take your coat and purse."
