Apartment; Morning; D and Chas
They had loved the quilt Sarah had left and had spent a good deal of time last night in bed, the quilt over them, pointing out bits and pieces they thought they recognized and thinking back on old times.

This morning they were doing it again as they lounged in bed before Nia woke up.

"Isn't that a bit of that netted top you stole from her that one time?" Deacon said, pointing to a square.

	"I think it is," Charlie said, lifting the bit of him under that bit of quilt to get a better view. "It looked so much better on her than me. Especially with all the rips in it." "Really, D?" Charlie put his knee down again and rolled onto his side to face Deacon and put his hand on his chest. "I sort of thought you did. I'm probably a bit too old to get away with mesh now. That's really the young twink's game. I guess I'll just have to aim for understated elegance instead." His fingers flexed and he smiled. "Raw sensuality is your forte."

"Yeah," Charlie said. "Also while she might get some people wondering which of us she's with, she'd know she isn't and where's the fun in going out with people and feeling like a third wheel? Or if we double dated her date might feel firstly uncomfortable and secondly inadequate when faced with our coupleness and your effortless alpha maleness."

He smiled smugly and turned his head to nuzzle a bit.
