Some of the men looked sickened, others were plainly gloating and excited. Others were hanging back in the shadows, interested but keen to get on with their work.
Fin noted faces then finally looked at the broken concrete and the scatter of bones exposed in it. Still partially articulated - and there was a cavity around the bones. Fin swallowed hard.
"They sank him into the concrete," he said, his quiet voice neatly fitting into a lull in the babble, "and he drowned. I'm sorry - I think this is the site of a murder."
