No, he didn't think so. So he looked away, not wanting to influence her decision.
Icene could almost have wished for any other reaction from Adam, somehow she had a feeling there were no right answers here, but she had to answer with something. She shrank a little bit in on herself, feeling very small, but not in a good way, "Greg, I think we could be good friends, but let's not rush into anything more at this stage? Perhaps a lunch?"
She closed her eyes, not wanting to see Adam's expression. She felt dreadful about her answer, in that it was sort of vague again, but then, she knew where she wanted to be, and who with, but she also still needed friends.
