Anastasia knew she hadn't exactly been innocent in the whole ordeal either, and that just made her sadder. "Well, yes, he is," she said with a sigh. "But I fucked up too, obviously long before I realized or he wouldn't have went somewhere else."
She squeezed his hand. "But thank you for the moral support," she said with a smile. "You've been a really, really good friend to me ever since I moved here and I appreciate that." She bit her lip. "I know it goes without saying, but I'd really appreciate it if this didn't spread all over the place. It's mine and Trevor's business, and I'd rather not have it become fodder for Joy or others like her."
